Annapurna trek is an amazing trek with lots of excitement. It’s a rewarding trek for every nature lover as it offers spectacular mountain views along with charming villages and forests. You can experience diverse Nepalese culture from Gurungs to Magars. The most wonderful part of the trek comes when you reach Poonhill. It offers the best view of the mountains on earth. You can also enjoy the beautiful scenario when sun touches the snow-capped giant summits like Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. The majestic views simply take your breath away.

TRIP DETAILS

Day 01: Arrival
Upon arrival to Kathmandu Airport, our representative will drop you to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Flight to Pokhara and trek to Deurali – 4 to 5 hours walk
We take our early morning flight to Pokhara and then start our trek to Phedi. We walk uphill to reach Gurung village called Dhampus where we stop for lunch. After lunch, we climb gradually through the forest area to Deurali via Potana. Deurali allows you to observe the whole Annpurna ranges and Pokhara valley along with mount Machhapuchhre. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 03: Trek to Ghandruk (1970m) – 4 to 5 hours walk
Having our breakfast early morning, we walk uphill to reach Ghandruk and pass by small villages. Ghandruk is the second largest Gurung settlement in Nepal which comprises of neatly terraced fields. At Ghandruk, you will have the opportunity to directly interact with the local people. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 04: Trek to Tadapani (2300m) – 4 to 5 hours walk
After taking our early morning breakfast, we move uphill eyeing on the views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna and more peaks from the ridgeline. We then cross a bridge and reach Bhainsekharka that has around 5 to 6 tea hourse. Having our lunch here, we move past rhododendron forest and reach Tadapani, a small Magar village. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 05: Tadapani to Ghorepani (2800m) – 5 to 6 hours walk.
From Tadapani, we move to Ghorepani. The way to Ghorepani is covered with stunning waterfall views and small wild animals and birds. The village is also a settlement of Gurung community which is big and the meaning of the name refers to the place where horses are given water to drink. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 06: Rest day at Ghorepani.
Today, we explore around Ghorepani. Early morning we climb uphill to reach Poon Hill. We visit Poon Hill to observe an early morning sunrise which is at the height of 3210m. The place offers mesmerizing views of Tukuche, Nilgiri, Annapurna, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Dhaulagiri and more other peaks. We then return back to Ghorepani and explore the village which facilitates you with internet connection, café and more facilities. During spring, beautiful rhododendron flowers blossoming all over forest is very appealing to observe. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 07: Trek to Sikha (1935m) – 3 to 4 hours walk
We start our trek with downhill walk capturing some appealing glimpses of the surrounding views and walk to Sikha, a large Gurung and Magar settlement with tea houses and lodges. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 08: Trek to Tatopani (1190m) – 4 to 5 hours walk
Our trail starts easy with downhill walk through Gurung and Magar villages. We then cross the Kaligandaki River and along its bank to reach Tatopani. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 09: Rest day at Tatopani (Hot Spring)
We can both take a hot spring bath at Tatopani to relax ourselves from the exhausting trek or walk along the narrow valley of Kaligandaki River, and interact with the community here. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 10: Drive to Jomsom (2713m) – 4 to 5 hours drive
Having our breakfast early morning, we drive to Jomsom. On our way, we will capture the stunning mount Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri via the Thakali village. Jomsom is the headquarter of Mustang and has the facilities of hospital, check post, Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) and more. Overnight at camp or lodge.

Day 11: Drive to Muktinath (3719m) – 6 hours
We first drive to Kagbeni eyeing on the Tilicho, Nilgiri, Thorang and more peaks. From here, the trail descends to Khingar. Passing by a desert landscape, meadows and streams, we then arrive at Jharkot. Climbing further from here, we reach Ranipauwa and finally Muktinath. Muktinath is a popular sacred place for Hindus and Buddhists. We visit the Muktinath Temple and have our lunch, then return back to Jomsom .Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 12: Flight to Pokhara and Drive back to Kathmandu
Taking breakfast early morning, we take the first flight to Pokhara and then stroll around Pokhara for some time and then take another flight to Kathmandu.

Note: At times the flights may either be delayed or even cancelled for a day or more, mostly because of bad weather. At such condition, we recommend our guests to have one extra day in Kathmandu post trek.
