If you are busy and do not have a month long time for trek, but still prefer to go for trekking, then this 12 days trek to Annapurna can prove to be handy for you. This trek let you to hike in the Annapurna region where you will be introduced to the majestic mountain views, diverse Nepalese culture and wildlife variations. The trip is designed specially keeping families and average walkers in mind, as they prefer pleasant and less-strenuous walk.

TRIP DETAILS

Day 01: Arrival

Upon arrival to Kathmandu Airport, our representative will drop you to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing at Kathmandu

You will visit the historical and cultural sights of Kathmandu. That includes visit to Pashupatinath, Boudhnath and Swoyambhunath. These places are enlisted in World Heritage Sites.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara via flight/drive

We move for Pokhara after our breakfast either by flight or drive. After reaching the beautiful lake city, Pokhara, we can refresh ourselves there. Pokhara is famous for its lakes, wonderful mountain scenarios and cafes.

Day 04: Pokhara to Nayapul drive, and walk to Tikhedhunga

We start with our early morning drive from Pokhara  to Nayapul. From Nayapul, we start our trek to Birethanti which is just half an hour walk from Nayapul. Then walking through the Bamboo forests and waterfalls, we pass Bhurgundi River and reach Hile. From here in 15 minutes, we reach Tikhedhunga. Overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Tikhedunga to Ghorepani (2,775m) – 4 to 5 hours walk

We start by crossing a suspension bridge and then cross Bhurgundi Khola. We then climb uphill via stone staircase. The walk allows us to view the tops Annapurna South and Hiunchuli behind the hills. We continue our walk to large community of Magar at Ulleri. Passing by Banthanti and Nanagatanti, we reach Ghorepani. Overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2,600m) – 4 to 5 hours walk

We go uphill to Poon Hill (3,190m) early morning to eye upon the stunning views of Tukuche, Nilgiri, Annapurna South and Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and more. We then trek uphill upto 3,100m  passing by rhododendron forests towards downhill of 2,600m.

Day 07: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1,900m)- 3 hours 

To explore  Ghandruk village, we move downhill crossing the rhododendron forests. Ghandruk is the second largest Gurung settlement in Nepal. The village is beautiful with neatly terraced fields. Overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Ghandruk to Landruk (1500m)- around 3 hours walk

We walk around an hour while moving downhill. On the way, we have eye catching views of greenery everywhere along with typical Gurung houses, their hospitable cultures and stunning mountain scenario of Hiuchuli and Annapurna.

Day 09: Landruk to Dhampus (1600m) – 4 to 5 hours walk

Eyeing on the glimpses of beautiful Annapurna ranges, we walk down to Dhampus; it comprises of shops and lodges. Overnight at lodge.

Day 10: Trek to Phedi and drive to Pokhara

We descend to Phedi from where we drive back to Pokhara. In Pokhara, we have a resting period having Spa, Massage and different refreshment activities.

Day 11: Back to Kathmandu

We take flight back to Kathmandu. This trek would equally offer you the exciting experience of going through serenity of villages and an opportunity to interact with the locals their cultures here.

Day 12: Back to home

Our representatives will take you to Airport for your departure to home.

Note: At times the flights may either be delayed or even cancelled for a day or more, mostly because of bad weather. At such condition, we recommend our guests to have one extra day in Kathmandu post trek.
