TRIP DETAILS

Day 01: Arrival

Upon arrival to Kathmandu Airport, our representative will drop you to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla; Trek to Chumoa (2743m) – 2 to 3 hours walk

We catch our early morning flight to Lukla, which is one of the most renowned mountain airstrip in the world. Upon reaching here, we have our lunch and trek our way to Phakding. Further from here, Chumoa, we camp at night. Overnight at camp.

Day 03: Trek to Namche (3445m) – 5 to 6 hours walk

Beginning our ascent to Namche, we walk uphill to Namche viewing the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. Namche being the center is the busy and bustling trading place. A big bazaar is held every Saturday. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 04: Trek to Thame (3801m) – 5 to 6 hours walk

Enjoying marvelous view of Kwangde Ri, our trails routes towards the bank of Bhote Koshi River. We cross the river and watch beautiful sights Thamserku and Kusum Kangru mountains. We then walk further to reach Thame, the birthplace of Tenzing Norgay, the Sherpa who made the first ascent of Everest with Hillary in 1953. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 05: Trek to Khumjung (3791m) – 5 to 6 hours walk

Our trail drops to Khumjung and we pass by many Sherpa villages. In Khumjung, the Sherpa’s hospitality is sure to amaze you. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 06: Trek to Phortse (3847m) – 5 to 6 hours walk

We descend and walk along the west bank of river to Phortse, another Sherpa village that lies on the lower southern flank of Tawache. Overnight at camp or lodge.

Day 07: Trek to Tengboche (3867m) – 5 to 6 hours walk

We walk along the steep hillside high above the Imja khola to the village of Pangboche. We can capture mount Ama Dablam and other beautiful Himalayan Peaks like Thamserku and Kantega. We follow the route of Deboche and reach Tengboche Monastery. We observe the monastery and stay here at Tengboche. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 08: Trek back to Namche (3445m) – 4 to 5 hours walk

We walk downhill to Phunki via monastery and cross the bridge at Imja River. We then climb to Namche Bazaar via the Tenzing Norgay Stupa. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 09: Trek back to Lukla (2880m) – 6 to 7 hours walk

As we are almost near to the end of our trip, we catch in the final glimpses of the Khumbu hills and walk to Lukla. We enjoy our last night at Khumbu Region. Overnight at lodge or camp.

Day 10: Fly back to Kathmandu

We enjoy the trans-Himalayan flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

(Note: The above itinerary is a just a guideline. Itineraries are subject to change to suit the local conditions and other factors. At times the flights may either be delayed or even cancelled for a day or more, mostly because of bad weather. At such condition, we recommend our guests to have one extra day in Kathmandu post trek.)
