One of the shortest trekking trails, yet popular one is the Tengboche Trek (3864m) that lies in Everest region. Starting from Lukla, the trek continues to Phakding and Namche. Namche is the busy bazaar with local Sherpa dwellers. The short uphill walk from Namche will lead you to the superlative views of gigantic mountains such as Everest (8848m/29029 feet), Lhotse, Amadablam, Nuptse, Kantega, Thamserku, Konde and others. The Sherpa people and their tradition/culture are the main point of attraction here. Heading from Namche, we traverse our path towards Tengboche Monastery (3867m/ 12687 feet) which is the spiritual center for the Sherpas. The monastery is located fundamentally located on a ridge top offering the splendid view of the Everest landscape.
